“O day after day we can’t help growing older.
Year after year spring can’t help seeming younger.
Come let’s enjoy our winecup today,
Nor pity the flowers fallen.”
–  Wang Wei, On Parting with Spring

This photo is a bit blown out but it works for me.  It creates a graphic of the allium which happens to be my favorite version.  The allium days are numbered… numbered all the way to 38 to be precise and more if I had started the photography session earlier in the bud stage.  Just a couple more days and I’ll call it finished.

This butterfly happened by while I was out with the camera.
