After yesterday’s black and white, it’s nice to have the color back on the blog!  If you’d have told me when I started this project that I’d have over a month of beautiful allium days, I might not have felt up to the task of that many different compositions.  Each day, each sunlit ray, each shadowed moment has been a treasure to me.  I’ve truly enjoyed the alliums this year from morning to night.

If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden.
~Attributed to Claudia Ghandi

In honor of my mother and  mother-in-love, in memory of my grandmothers, and in treasuring these days with my children still home…  Happy Mother’s Day!  May a measure of the sweetness of this day be yours.
