Everything is still wet from the overnight rain… wet and revitalized.  And the allium has made its full orb at last.

I like to think a flower opens itself to outgrow its plantedness.  That it yearns to be carried away.

This second photo is my everyday view of the allium garden from my patio doors.  I can watch the birds at the feeder from my kitchen sink, though that window is screened so it’s harder to photograph through.  The finches keep feeding, even through the rains.
