It’s a cloudy Sunday but at least it’s not raining.  I love the translucency of the fabric that at one time encased these exploding petals.

Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own; and from morning to night, as from the cradle to the grave, is but a succession of changes so gentle and easy that we can scarcely mark their progress.

Charles Dickens

This cloudy Sunday marks the passing of a beautiful soul I never met, who fought a battle I haven’t known, with a courage I’ve never attained, and a strength I’ve never needed.  She died physically and virtually surrounded by a host of friends and family who saw the beauty of her spirit even in her passing through their tear-clouded eyes. I could say she left us all too soon, but I have a Father who knows the eternal answer to that oh, so earthly question.  Peace to you and to all who loved you, K.

  1. What a great shot of the allium! Would never have thought to shoot from this angle, very eye catching!
